I made it! There were quite a few times on Thursday I thought I wouldn't!!! ( Thursday was so rough, the kind of day were nothing goes right and you feel like sitting in the middle of the kitchen and have a huge screaming and crying fit) YES, it was that bad!

Friday was a new day and absolutely everything went very smoothly. Plan B can be a life saver! Friday night was my last large catered event of my college career. It was a relief and also a tad bit sad, 2 1/2 years of my life is quickly coming to an end. I look forward to the future with excitement and optimism!!

Congratulations! The dessert looks great, I have only used star anise in savory dishes, but I'd love to try it in a dessert.
