Jim's annual birthday party

Key Lime cheesecake
recipe at http://www.epicurious.com/ search key lime cheesecake
It was delicious with a layer of graham cracker crust, key lime curd and creamy cheesecake filling. I had the leftovers for breakfast! P.S. Iapologize for the terrible lighting in these photos, most of my lighting is packed away, plus I wanted to spend time with friends!

We have many, many parties and dinners at our house each year, but the one our friends look forward to the most is my husbands birthday party. It is always a themed party, in years past we have done a variety of themes. Monte carlo night, roaring 20's, ect. This year we did a beach theme.
It was a wonderful night to talk about what the future has to hold, what amazing friendships we have made through food and drink, and the fact that we need to put a clause in the house contract that the next owners must continue celebrating food, friends and family in the house! ( thank you to all my dear friends who have made our lives so much richer and fufilling by knowing you, we will miss terribly. Feel free to visit anytime our door is always open! We know many of you are world travelers and have no excuse :)

What a fun party! That cheesecake looks unbelievable. I think it would have made the perfect breakfast as well. :) Cheesecake is one of those great year round desserts. You can use citrus to lighten it up in the summer or coffee and chocolate around the holidays. Yum!
