A Birthday Gift

Today I am officially one year older! Yes, yes I turned 29 today. Ok, so I have been 29 for awhile now but a girl never reveals her true age! My best friend has been 27 for years, so I can be 29! It's my birthday afterall!

My husband is on a business trip and my children are tucked snugly in their beds, I think it's time for a good movie and a sophisticated drink. Not just any drink will do, it needs to be smooth, slightly sweet, and worthy of a movie like Julie and Julia!

The french martini will fit the occasion perfectly! A french martini is a combination of Vodka, Pineapple juice and Chambord. Not too sweet, smooth and perfect for sipping. Sophisticated enough for a night out with the girls but also festive enough for your next holiday get together.

In addition to a drink I am giving you a gift today! Head on over to http://holidays.theopenskyproject.com/ and enter sjgourmet as your favorite shopkeeper to receive a coupon for 15 dollars off any item over 20 dollars. Coupons are limited and can be used at any store in the Opensky store! Valid until for the next 48 hours only!
