Did you ever have a time in your life where you were at a cross road and wondered which way to go? Do you chose the path that is well traveled, familiar and guaranteed? Or do you choose what you are passionate about and hope that is enough to create something successful?I suppose we all have these questions at some point in our lives, mine just happened to hit me all at once! Needless to say, this made for a very interesting two weeks.
My handsome hubby has been very understanding and has even created a few great cocktails in the evening. ( I have to admit, I have had more new cocktails these past two weeks than I have had in months!)
This recipe is perfect to serve at a barbecue or just enjoy on the porch on a warm spring night.

Raspberry Long Island Ice Tea
Serves 2
1 ounce white rum
1 ounce vodka
1 ounce tequila
1 ounce gin
1/2 ounce triple sec
1 ounce chambord
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 cup cane sugar cola
2 cups ice
Place all ingredients in cocktail shaker and shake vigorously until mixed. Pour into glass and garnish with a California Manderine orange slice! Enjoy and contemplate your life.

I am not a cocktail drinker as I usually got so drunk after a glass or two...but still find Long Island Ice tea quite tempting, esp. when serving in a swimming bar bbq party.
Ohhhh, Long Island Iced Tea, the drink that slithered its way into my young 20-something soul. Made me do horrible things like karaoke! Sneaky, sly, clever little drink - I do not trust you!
Long Island Tea is super in the summer! Love the idea of adding raspberries to it!
Gorgeous photo and Im coming over for said cocktail experimenting, kthks.. ;]
Wow, this sounds really interesting...definitely not the kind of iced tea I drink! I wonder where we can get the cane sugar cola?
