Saturday night I had the honor of volunteering my time for the American Cancer Society Gala. The American Cancer Society is an incredible charity that provides support, counseling and research for those affected by this disease. My family has been directly affected by this disease, my father and father-in-law have both been diagnosed with two different cancers and both are now survivors. I volunteered my time in tribute of them, they are two of the strongest most resilient men I know. Here's to hope and courage to defy the odds!

Yes, I too volunteer for charity in honor of my daughter, and my hubby's father and step father who passed from disease related illnesses.
