Last night was the prairie fest event I have been working on this week. It has been one very long and tiring week! My team did a great job assisting me in the prep and plating, with a few hiccups along the way. Smaller clear plates, ( in case you haven't noticed I prefer to use white plates) a blackberry sauce that would not cooperate, and guests added at the last minute. All hiccups aside, the event was fairly easy. The college president was very pleased with the food and loved the chocolate flourless cake with caramel whiskey sauce!

Congrats, now you can sit and relax, that is until tomorrow right? :) Everything looks good! The plating is beautiful, and I wish I could have a roll!
Fantastic job!! OMG!! I am so with Chef E.. I want a roll!!
A roll would be nice, but cake would be better!! It looks scrumptious! So elegant.
Wow, everything looks amazing. I totally want one of those chocolate cakes! You deserve a break, I hope you get a chance to relax.
Reeni, I tried to comment on your blog, but it would not let me! The cheesy polenta and barbecued shrimp looks fabulous, my hubby will love it!
