Side Dish Tuesday

Ummmm... Mashed potatoes are one of my favorite side dishes! It pairs perfectly with beef bourgingoun from Mondays post. I did however make them a little more special for guests with a few additional ingredients. I hope you enjoy! In addition to the final product photo I added some help photos along the way. Hopefully this helps you!

Herbed Goat Cheese Mashed Potatoes

5 Large potatoes Peeled and cut into 4 pieces
4 tablespoons butter
1 cup milk ( any kind you want)
1 package of herbed goat cheese ( you can find this in the deli section of the grocery store)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Boil a large pot of water fill 2/3 of way with water. Add cut potatoes and cook 30 minutes on medium high heat. Drain water from potatoes and place in mixer bowl (or you can use a hand mixer if you don't have a kitchen aid).

Add milk, butter, goat cheese, salt and pepper. Mix on low until all potatoes are mashed. Approximately 2-3 minutes.

The final product, yummy fluffy mashed potatoes! Plate and serve with the french beef stew on Mondays post.

mmm....looks so yummy. Your photography is really great on food. I think food can be hard to capture and make look appetizing, you are doing a fabulous job of it!
