My new favorite recipe

This is a recipe for a final exam in one of classes and it is so simple and looks beautiful also. The recipe is below
Bleu Cheese Pecan Phyllo Bites
1 8 oz. package of cream cheese
2 packages of premade phyllo shells ( you can find these by the frozen desserts in the grocery)
4 oz. bleu cheese crumbled
1/3 cup dried cherries
1/3 cup pecan pieces
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
Bake phyllo shells at 350 7-9 minutes cool before filling with cream cheese
In bowl beat cream cheese until smooth, spoon cream cheese in to baked phyllo shells
Place bleu cheese and cherries on top of cream cheese in shells.
To make the sugar pecans- Place pecans in skillet along with sugar and salt. Heat until sugar melts and the pecans are coated. Remove and let cool on foiled line baking sheet. Break apart once cool and sprinkle on top of appetizer.
Enjoy!!!
